If you love snorkeling and would like to have a different experience with the accompaniment of an experienced guide, you are in the right place! From June through September, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (new dates for 2024 will be announced soon!), Le Crociere del Sole runs daily excursions, allowing you to explore the clear waters and breathtaking seabed of Giglio Island.
To participate in our day excursion, it is necessary:
- go to Porto Santo Stefano (and safely leave your car in one of the parking lots we point out at this link);
- Reach the boarding point, located at Piazzale Candi 8 - Ferry Terminal.Â
We will sail aboard the Motorship Silver Coast in the direction of Giglio Island, and we will arrive at our destination in about 1 hour by boat.

Giglio Island, the second largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago, is famous for its natural beauty, crystal clear waters and exceptional seabed, ideal for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. With 90% of wilderness, covered by Mediterranean scrub, Giglio offers unique colors and scents. The excursion includes a dinghy ride around the island, with stops for refreshing swims in the most exclusive coves little frequented by mass tourism.Â
The snorkeling excursion will allow you to admire breathtaking views, heavenly beaches, secret coves and the large bay of Giglio Campese, with its reddish sand, nestled between a stacks and the historic Medicean Tower.
Tuesday and Thursday's schedule
- 10:00 a.m. - collection point Piazzale Candi - Ferry Terminal, Porto Santo Stefano
- 10:30 a.m. - departure with Maregiglio Ferry
- 11:30 a.m. - Giglio Porto arrival, free stopover.
- 2:00 p.m. - hangout with Max Shark, experienced snorkeling instructor
- 2:30 p.m. - Start island tour by dinghy (4 hours including stops for swimming and snorkeling excursion)
- 6:30 p.m. - arrival at Giglio Porto and free time on the island
- 7:00 p.m. - departure from Giglio Island by ferry Maregiglio
Saturday's scheduleÂ

- 12:30 p.m. - arrival in Giglio Porto with free stopover

- 2:30 p.m. - Start island tour by dinghy (4 hours which includes swimming stops, snorkeling equipment, snorkeling excursion)
- 6:30 p.m. - arrival at Giglio Porto and free time on the island
- Â 7:00 p.m. - departure from Giglio Island by Maregiglio Ferry
PLEASE NOTE: In both programs, it is recommended to report to the meeting point at Piazzale Candi at least 15 minutes before the departure time for the boarding operations.Â
We reserve the right to cancel the excursion due to adverse marine weather conditions and force majeure. In such cases we will refund the excursion.

Cancellation Policy
Should it be your intention Cancel reservation for snorkeling and trekking tour at Giglio Island, you can do so within 48 hours of your departure date. If the cancellation takes place on time, a full refund of the ticket will be made. There will be no refund if the cancellation occurs after the stipulated time.
In order for you to receive a refund for your online purchase, you must send an email to mylovemaremma@gmail.com. The refund will be made by crediting the total amount to the credit card used for the purchase, except for fees.Â

Snorkeling excursion to Giglio Island: essential information before you go
Here is some very important information, regarding the conduct of the our snorkeling excursion to the island of Giglio, which we recommend that you read as of now:
- Â Â Â the excursion is guaranteed for a minimum number of 4 and a maximum of 24 participants;
- Â Â Â we reserve the right to cancel the excursion due to adverse weather conditions and force majeure. In such cases, at the client's option, we will refund the excursion;
- Â Â Â it is recommended to go to the Meeting point at the dock, equipped with your boarding pass, at least 15 minutes before the departure time For boarding operations;
- Â Â Â to make the excursion more enjoyable, the island tour itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions;
- Â Â Â it is recommended that all explorers be respectful of the ecosystem and, therefore, do not throw traces or debris into the sea;
- Â Â Â animals not allowed.

A bordo sono tutti gentili e simpatici, il comandante un vero personaggio. abbiamo trascorso una bella giornata e a bordo mangiato bene e abbondante.
